Thanks to Jeff for this one. 750ml capped bottle into Night Shift stemware. Shared with schen9303.
Nose is fantastically aromatic. Huge passion fruit notes that cover the dragon fruit addition for the most part. Beer opens puckering. Passion fruit is apparent with light dragon fruit sweetness that pops in and out. A touch on the sour side to the point where more subtle flavors from the fruit are a little drowned out. Finishes with a lingering sourness. Clean Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and sparkling on the palate and goes down aggressive and foamy with a crisp, puckering finish. Very drinkable.
This isn't Barrel Theory's best beer but it's impressive nonetheless. Worth trying.

unique beer for sure, perhaps the most dragon fruit forward beer i have ever come across, and while the souring is a little dirty and sloppy, i think the fruit aspect of this is incredible, and so i find myself liking the beer overall despite the brewer's apparently mediocre grasp of kettle souring. the fruit really makes this one, and if you dont know what dragon fruit tastes like on its own, this is it. its like a mix of fruit punch kool aid, citrus, hibiscus, and crisp radish, kind of an odd fruit, fragrant and sweet, and this beer captures it extremely well. the passion fruit is a nice add too, gives it a little tartness as well, and is just as natural as the dragon fruit. the sour part i do my best to look past, its cheesy and a little harsh on the teeth, but its also got some butyric acid in it, which i cant stand, but the sweetness of the fruit covers it up enough to be drinkable. this is a cool beer, really unique, but its not technically all that good. the hype train is alive and well with these guys, how some of these amateurish beers score so high here on BA is entirely beyond me...

Pours a clear crimson pink color with a pink small head. Lots of fruit in this one but not in a sour way , its tart and dry fruit is on the tropical/garden side. A tart dry finish
