A big thanks to Jeff for this goody. 32oz. crowler into Night Shift stemware. Shared with schen9303.
Nose is blood orange, grapefruit and citrus fruit. Pungent, tart and juicy. Beer opens blood orange, cane sugar and a prickly tartness. Some sweet citrus creaminess in the middle with more blood orange juice at the finish. Pretty simple. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down sparkling. Juicy, puckering finish.
Pretty good if a bit basic. Really showcases the Blood Orange fruit profile though.

Poured from a 750 ml flip top bottle into a chalice. Bottled on 9/26/2017.
Appearance: Pours a cloudy golden orange. Lots of bubbles and a slight finger of off white head that quickly fades away.
Smell: A juicy and tart aroma with a scent of blood orange and funk. Big upfront scent of blood orange juice. Hints of funk and coriander. Also some hints of sea salt. A pretty nice juicy aroma.
Taste: Like it smells, a juicy and tart taste with good notes of blood orange and funk. Good juicy and tart presence of blood orange juice. Some notes of funk and coriander along with some slight sea salt. Light malt notes of cracker along with some yeast. A very good taste.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy and very smooth.
Overall: A very good fruit Berliner. Big blood orange flavor with balanced tartness.

No head. Pale golden orange.
Pretty juicy and pretty tart. The blood orange shows a lot but it's not mouth puckering. Lemon citrus.
Light bodied. Easy drinking. Solid.
