On tap. White head with a lot of lace. Hazy golden sunset orange.
This one is odd. The rye is really throwing things off here. Spicy and citrusy. Some fruit. Grassy and floral.
Very odd. Not for me.

Poured from a 750 ml crowler can into a Barrel Theory chalice.
Appearance: Pours a deep amber orange. Moderate amount of bubbles and a solid finger of off white head that settles into a thin creamy layer.
Smell: A juicy and earthy hop driven aroma with a scent of citrus, pine, and rye. Upfront citrus hop scent of grapefruit, orange peel, mango, apricot, and tangerine along with pineapple. Malt scent of rye, caramel, grains, and cracker with some yeast. A pretty nice aroma.
Taste: Like it smells, a juicy and earthy hop driven taste with notes of citrus, pine, and rye. Upfront citrus hop presence of grapefruit, orange peel, tangerine, apricot, and mango along with some pineapple. Earthy hop notes of pine resin and grass. Malt notes of rye, caramel, grains, and cracker along with yeast. A very good taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy, oily, and drying.
Overall: Another very good IPA from Barrel Theory. Good mix of citrus, pine, and rye notes.

Definitely detect the rye, it's present but does not dominate which is quite nice. It's a nice spin on the fruity/juicy IPA.
