A huge thanks to Jeff for this one. 750ml swingtop growler into Night Shift stemware. Shared with schen9303.
Super carbed and cloudy as hell. The nose is where this is at though. I haven't smelled a berliner like this in a long time. Aromas of lactose, sweet cream, overripe peaches and a stone fruit acidic tartness. Its wonderful. Beer opens peach pit and skin. Intensely tart, juicy and fruity in the middle with young apricot meat and sour peaches. A nice sweetness comes in after taking multiple sips. End is sweet peach. Apricot fades out quickly. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively in the mouth and goes down soft and puckering.
Fruited berliners lately tend to be heavy on the acidity and tartness and light on complexity emerging from the actual fruit addition. This is an exception. The peach and apricot really come through here and instead of being puckeringly acidic, this one exhibits of soft and roundedness that you don't come across very often. I'd highly recommend this. Certainly a stand-out in the style.

Excellent example of a Berliner. Wonderful flavor of peach and apricot comes through with a slight bite.

White head. Hazy sunset orange.
Lots of stone fruit. Peaches and apricots all around. Lemon citrus and tartness. Very easy drinking with a lot of flavor for the low abv. Very enjoyable.
