Poured from a 750 ml crowler can into a Barrel Theory chalice. Filled on 2/26/18.
Appearance: Pours a hazy golden orange. Moderate amount of bubbles and a big two finger white head that settles into a thin patchy layer.
Smell: A juicy and earthy hop driven aroma with a scent of citrus and grass. Citrus hop scent of orange peel, grapefruit, papaya, and mango with some pineapple. Earthy hop scent of grass and pine resin. Malt hints of caramel, grains, and cracker with some yeast. A very nice aroma.
Taste: Like it smells, a juicy and earthy hop forward taste with notes of citrus and grass. Citrus hop notes of grapefruit, orange peel, mango, and papaya along with pineapple. Earthy hop notes of pine resin and grass. Background malt notes of caramel, cracker, and grains along with yeast. A pretty good taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy, oily, and drying.
Overall: A really good hop forward Pale Ale. Not as in your face juicy as other BT ales but very good.

On tap. Off white head. Lace. Hazy sunset orange.
Easy drinking pale ale. Not the typical BT juice. Has a bit more bitterness to it. A touch of stickiness. Some orange and papaya. Earthy and green. It’s only 2 days old so this may need another week or two to develop. Solid for now, but could be great.
