A huge thanks to Jeff for this one. 750ml waxed and capped bottle into Night Shift stemware. Shared with schen9303.
This one actually has coconut floaties in it. Not the best to look at but its exciting. Nose is toasted coconut meat, chocolate, fudge, roasted malt and lactose. Really well balanced. Rich and aromatic. Beer opens salty coconut juice, chocolate, fudge, molasses and cocoa powder. The integration of coconut is perfect in this beer. Lactose cream and vanilla in the middle with more coconut meat and milk chocolate towards the end. The barrel aging is not apparent and this one's not boozy in the least. It's perfection. Body is heavy with low carbonation. Slick and chewy on the palate and goes down luscious, smooth and rich. Long, lingering aftertaste. Again, not boozy at all and drinks way too smooth for the ABVs.
The best coconut stout I've ever had? If it's not, I gotta believe it's close. This one's amazing.

Oddly I thought it wasn't that great when I had it on draft on release day. Was able to acquire a bottle in a trade and my opinion has improved substantially. Cola brown appearance with a thin copper head is nothing to admire. Aroma is milky and caramelly, with just a hint of bourbon. It's sweet, but not cloyingly so, notes of brown sugar, toast, cocoa, and obviously coconut. Bourbon is very much restrained, which I guess isn't too shocking considering it weighs in at below ten percent. Medium-bodied without any oppressive carbonation, almost a coffee-like feel on the back end.

On draft at BT taproom.
Huge coconut and chocolate on the nose. Very smooth, velvety mouthfeel. Flavor is excellent - tons of coconut, but not so much that it hits you over the head in a bad way.
Seriously, hard to imagine much better than this. Got two bottles of it, too - will sit on those for a while before cracking them open, this'll age fantastically.

On draft.
Black color. Little tan head.
Coconut bomb. Silky chocolate and fudge. Liquid mounds bar. I wish there was a little more barrel as it is hard to find. Guessing the massive amount of coconut is covering it up.
Full bodied, but not oil thick. Rick and sweet with a faint roast.
Very well done. Very tasty.

Pours a dark black with some crimson highlights with a 1 finger head and clinging lacing. Smell had roasted malts, chocolate, coconut, with wood and almonds. Taste was very good... fresh coconut was first up with milk chocolate roasted malts to follow ,chocolate and almonds play in with a touch of vanilla, back end had wood and barrel. Mouth feel was medium with a thin but still creamy overall taste in relation to the barrel. Very nice subtle coconut . Overall very good would have liked more barrel thou.
