A big thanks to Jeff for this one. 750ml crowler into Night Shift stemware.
Fantastic looking beer. Nose is cinnamon, anise, mint, chocolate, fudge and vanilla. Very sweet with a spiced brightness. Beer opens chocolate, fudge and cinnamon and pecan sweetness. A tiny bit of saltiness makes this one even sweeter. Middle is cinnamon and anise with more pecan and a wave of vanilla creaminess. End is nutty with some sesame and chocolate at the finish. Pretty good. Body is full with low carbonation. Slick and oily on the palate and heavy and luscious going down. Messy and surprisingly light and fluffy going down with a messy, lingering finish.
Very true to the description... though I don't know if Baklava is the flavor I'm looking for in my pastry stout.

On tap. Dark tan head. Black color.
Massive walnut flavor. Big cinnamon and baklava notes. Honey shows in the finish. Chocolate and cocoa. Raisin bread. A very interesting mix of flavors, but it’s very fun. Thick and rich. Smooth.
