Thanks to Jeff for the Barrel Theory hookup! 750ml crowler into Night Shift stemware.
Not much in the way of head or clarity but great, great color. Nose is strawberry juice mixed with mellow sweet cherry jam. Decent. Beer opens strawberry and sweet cherry. Very dessert-like. Almost cherry-pie-esque. Middle is more cherry and strawberry jam with a mild, sweet creaminess. End is accented tartness balanced by more sweet cherry. I didn't care for this at first but as I sip and sip, it's growing on me. Body is light with moderate to ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down crisp, accented.
A very solid beer in it's own right, but for a Barrel Theory offering, this is a bit of a letdown. Doesn't blow me away.

Pours a light purple color with a crimson head. Smell has blueberry, passion fruit, currant and blackberry. Taste follows the nose with more of a blackberry ,red wine taste ,earthy notes of fig/plum. A sweet mouth feel not tart or sour more earthy fruit tastes. Would have like more tartness in this that dank & sweet fruit.

On tap. Light pink head. Cloudy purple ruby color.
Tons of berries. Reminds me more of a fruit or sour beer than an ipa. The marionberry shows the most. Some strawberry too. Cherry is faint. Really drinkable and really fun.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
