This beer looks like pineapple juice in the glass, which is fitting with the style. Very murky and hazy looking with a thick 3 finger white head. The head retention is average, and there's a bit of lacing on the glass.
Holy hell, is this tropical smelling. So much pineapple in the aroma. Hints of grapefruit and tangerine. There's also a faint earthiness to this beer's aroma.
Taste - Holy hell! This flavor is amazing, and I'm burnt out on the style. So tropical. I get tons of pineapple, tangerine, and grapefruit. These flavors have an earthy hint to them.
The hops do cling in my throat a bit. I am guessing they used oats in the beer, because it is soft as silk. Smooth, and creamy feeling.
Wow, when a beer in this style is made right, it is downright amazing. This is made right.

 

A - A pretty, pale orange body, translucent, with a short white head that fades to a thin persistent cap, lots of small bubble clusters on the glass.

S - Pungent tropical fruit and citrus, with earthy grass undercurrents and a bit of hop dankness.

T - Follows that nose, but fuller fruit in the open mango, pineapple, passionfruit and grapefruit, earthiness and subtle umami blooming with a cracker malt note in the middle, and a soft pith bitterness with limestone minerality in the finish.

M - Moderate weight, a touch of texture on the tongue and a slow build of hop resin as you work your way along.

O - A mighty fine NEIPA that does not just go straight juice. Oh, make no mistake, it is there, but the savory earthiness and the soft bitterness add depth and richness to the juiciness. The result is a lovely, tasty, quite drinkable brew.

 

 

Citra Strata and Nelson hops on a hazy ipa - beautiful bouquet on the nose that matches its taste. Some of Barrel Theory’s beers are best in small sample sizes- not true for Hazy Like Sunday Morning. Extremely drinkable and perfect for crowler. Loads of citrus are smoothed out by the Nelson and strata hops. Dank but not overdone. Very well balanced. One of BT’s best in my book.

Probably too fresh as it is green with some bitterness. Earthy and floral. Not too tropical or juicy. Not BTs best. Some melon.

Pours a hazy light straw color with a thin white head. Smell is floral with light berries some dank weed and citrus. taste is superb hops burst wit citrus grapefruit ,passion fruit, spice/pepper, mango and some white wine. Mouth feel is non bitter but has some prickly grapefruit in the finish, a little resinous dank weed in the mix. A potpourri of hops here in a NEIPA style its well done,highly drinkable/tasty.
