Crowler. Hazy golden orange. Off white head.
Juicy and tropical, but shows it's a double. Pineapple and mango. Bready malts and a little bit of booze showing. Orange peel. Grassy and earthy hops. Odd bitterness, but I am diggin the African Queen hops. Ends with a lemon herbal flavor.

Four-day old crowler from the taproom. Pours a dense off-white two-inch head, which lasts until the end. Lacing was quite impressive and coated all the way down. Beer was a little lighter in color than many DIPAs, but not pale at all...yellow with quite a haze - but not whitish. Mouthfeel was creamy and rich - more than I expected - very nice. Aroma was intense citrus and floral with a hint of pine. Wow! Flavor followed the aroma with a nicely balanced malt base. Still more East Coast than West Coast...just fabulous.
BT is making some of the best craft beers in the midwest IMO. Too bad (or so good) that they produce so little of it.
