A big thanks to Jeff for this one.
750ml waxed and capped bottle into a Brooklyn Brewery snifter. Shared with schen9303.
Pours super thick and viscous like motor oil. Really dense but little to no head. Nose is chocolate, maple syrup, vanilla, oak, sweet soy sauce, and booze. Rich and aromatic. Beer opens chocolate, maple syrup and graham cracker. Oak, booze, and tobacco in the middle with layers of vanilla throughout. Some sweet soy sauce, and mintiness at the finish with more vanilla, brown sugar, and maple syrup in the aftertaste. Body is full with low carbonation. Thick, slick, and almost chewy on the palate and goes down rich and mildly hot with a long, lingering, sticky aftertaste that stays around well after the beer is gone. Great for the style.
Just really solid all around.

Poured into a teku glass via bottle
Color is a nice milk chocolate color
Smell is cinnamon toast as advertised
Taste follows the nose..the beer was a bit rough for the first glass but settled down a bit for the second one..i got more maple and vanilla and small hints of coffee
Carbonation is medium
Mouthfeel is medium as well..as i was hoping for more thickness

On tap. Tan head. Black color.
What’s crazy about this beer is that there are no adjuncts yet it has a ton of adjunct flavors from the barrels. Cinnamon shows the most, then vanilla, maple, chocolate all blend in. Warming bourbon and fudge in the finish. Full bodied. Smooth, warming feel.
