A big thank to Jeff for this one. 750ml crowler into a Brooklyn Brewery snifter.
Nose is vanilla, cream, coconut, banana, chocolate and molasses. I don't get much pistachio here but this is usually a pretty subtle flavor on the nose. Nicely aromatic overall. Beer opens toasted coconut, vanilla, coca cola, chocolate, and fudge. Super sweet, robust and rich. The middle contains a mild saltiness that serves to enhance the sweet flavors. Some coffee, espresso, and lactose. End is a touch of roasted malt, more coconut, and more molasses and syrup. Flavors complement each other well. Body is full with low carbonation. Smooth, rich and heavy on the palate and goes down warm and luscious. Long, lingering and sticky aftertaste.
Good, not great in a long, long, long line of pastry stouts.

On tap. Tan head. Black color. Coconut floaties.
Coconut and pistachios for days. Thick and creamy. Vanilla sweetness. Chocolate and fudge. Liquid mounds bar like. Desserts, but very drinkable. I can’t put my glass down. Flavor bomb. BTs best non BA stout.
