On tap. White head with lace. Clear dark gold color.

Reminds me of an actual west coast ipa but Midwest style. Some hazy breweries can’t make west coast, but this is nice. Floral and piney. Grapefruit and papaya. Bitter, sticky hops. Resin in the finish. I dig this.

From a crowler, only a week old, into the la fin du monde tulip. Great 2 finger mid-sized creamy and bubbly white head, on top of a clear copper color. Nose brings some solid blood orange and orange rind merged with some kind of kind of dark floral notes. It is true to the Amarillo promised by the description, but kind of one note. The taste keeps all those strengths but is a step up, and brings more out: warm earthy spiciness, big round oily citrus (not too juicy) notes, and earthy floral notes. The Amarillo profile really shines. Mouthful is full without being heavy, and fairly smooth and oily, with a kind of moderate earthy/spicy warm bitterness. At first I was a little disappointed it wasn’t a little more bitter, but this one grew on me a lot over the course of the crowler. I think it does a great job as an Amarillo-focused pale.

A West Coast version of the Rain. Pours a slight hazed color with a very nice fresh white head . Smell is juicy and floral . Taste has oranges/grapefruit with mango and pineapple. A boldly hopped mouth feel that has some bitterness pine and malts
