Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5% clarity) medium, dusky yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 7-8. (4.00)

Aroma: Strong aromas of orange and lemon citrus, some tropical, pineapple, and sweet orange linger underneath. (4.00)

Flavor: Strong flavors of orange citrus, lemon citrus, citrus flour with a soft yeast and malt off the finish. (4.25)

Feel: Medium body, appropriate, carbonation, smooth, soft and silky finish. Dry. (4.25)

Compared to Toppling Goliath Pseudo Sue 4/2024: Pours similar, milder head. Similar aromas. More smooth orange, pineapple, nectar. Less bright orange, lemon citrus and zest. More somoth. Overall, nearly identical.

Overall: It has a smooth orange, pineapple, with some smooth nectar notes. I thought it is great. I have to admit the couple of hazy pale ales and IPAs from Barrel Theory I've had have been top notch level, and this speaks to that. Top notch pale ale. (Rating: 4.18)

A - Pours out pale orange, hazy translucence, with a tight bubble head, persistent with lots of lacing.

S - A nose of citrus, more of the Tang type than juice, with zest and pith, and a line of hop resin.

T - The fruit is more juicy on the tongue, tangerine and grapefruit citrus, with some stone fruit sweetness and tang, a bit of pineapple through the middle, and a grassy pith bite in the finish.

M - Moderate weight, very soft through the middle, and just a touch of dryness in the close.

O - A NEIPA/APA hybrid, delicious, without the heaviness of a traditional NEIPA or heavier malt notes of an APA. The result is something deeply satisfying.
