16oz can. Bottom date stamp reads 'MAR/22/24'.
Hazy, pale gold colored body. Two fingers of white head, which turns into meringue. Left behind lacing is displayed as horizontal rings.
Aroma of orange, grapefruit, mango, and lemongrass.
Taste is sweet and has flavors of overripe fruit - orange, grapefruit, melon, pineapple, and berry. Some late pith bitterness plus a little white grape essence. Aftertaste is more bitter than the main flavor profile.
More than medium mouthfeel, plus slight stickiness. Overripe sweetness. Very good carbonation.
Higher ABV% is hidden but contributes to the overripe fruit expression.

Canned 3/22/24 (2 months ago)
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (10% clarity) medium orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 8-9. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of of orange citrus, papaya, mango, stone, fruit, melon, and berries. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of tropical, orange, tangerine, stone fruit. There’s papaya, melon, mango underneath. Tropical, slightly resonance and finishes, sweet. (4.25)
Feel: Medium to heavier body, appropriate, carbonation, finishes, juicy, tropical, and mildly sweet. (4.00)
Compared to Toppling Goliath Cosmic Archer 6/2024: Pours darker, milder head. Stronger aromas. More resinous orange, tropical stonefruit and pineapple. Less zesty orange/grapefruit, white grape, berries.
Overall: Nice combo of Citra, Nectaron, and Nelson. This showcases the Nectaron well giving a tropical stonefruit and pineapple flavor. I have to give credit to Barrel Theory for making an outstanding IPA here that uses Nectaron. I'm not usually a fan of Nectaron, but they make it nicely here. This brewery has been growing on me. A - Pours out a murky orange body, fluffy white head that fades to a thin cap, with a thick ring and extensive curtain lacing.
S - Orange candy over a bit of dank hop grassiness.
T - Opens with a fruity pebbles candied fruit flavors, tangerine and orange comes forward in the middle, pith sharpness and a lingering hop spiciness in the finish.
M - Decent carbonation, moderate weight, and a dry, trailing finish, with just a touch of resin that sits around after the close.
O - A delicious hazy, hoppy IIPA. Enjoyable, tasty and solid. More please.
