Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (40% clarity) medium orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, grapefruit, pineapple, melon and mango. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange, grapefruit, blood, orange, tropical, pineapple, melon, mango. (4.25)
Feel: Medium bodied, strong carbonation. Finishes juicy, relatively dry. (4.00)
Compared to Barrel Theory When The Sun Hits 8/24: Pours identical, stronger aromas. More pineapple, mango. Less passionfruit, lime, guava, coconut. Winner: Thoughts + Feelings
Overall: Great IPA with complex flavors. Citra and Riwaka is a fantastic combo. Orange, pineapple, melon, mango. I'd give this an Outstanding rating. (Rating: 4.15)
