On tap. White head with lace. Clear straw golden color.
Very nice west coast ipa. Best way to describe it is a light PtE. Dank, floral, piney, and a bit weedy.

16 oz can canned 10/19/24 into a shaker pint glass.
L: SRM 4.5 pours clear light caramel color with a frothy white head, light steady carbo, good head retention, medium webbed lacing.
S: lightly fruity, citrus, a touch of lemon, distant pine.
T: Zesty citrus fruits, grapefruit, tangerine, light melon, lemon, sweet caramelized malts, ardent and emphasized pine resin esp in the long lingering finish. It leans bitter.
F: Brisk medium-bodied mouthfeel with a very long moderately drying finish. It is fairly clean overall.
O: A superior tasting and easy drinking IPA from this brewery AGAIN. They do not disappoint. Clean drinking with lots of pine resin and boy does it linger. It goes over the top of the lemon note that helps to define the style. NTL this is a great tasting full-flavored beer that is outstanding in its style.

Canned 10/8/24
Appearance: Pours a completely clear, medium golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 6. (4.25)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, grapefruit, some dank pine and tangerine underneath. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong and bitter flavors of orange, grapefruit, pineapple, with a bitter and dank pine underneath. Bitter. (4.25)
Feel: Medium-bodied, strong carbonation. Bitter, clean finish. (4.25)
Compared to Swami's Pizza Port 10/24: Pours similar, milder aromas. More pine. Less tangerine. Drier and cleaner. Similar.
Overall: Barrel Theory West-Coast IPA. They have been making some great haze so figured I'd pick up a version of their West-Coast. Orange, grapefruit, with bitter pine. Flavorful, bitter, and clean. Outstanding and top shelf West-Coast IPA. (Rating: 4.19)
