When I moved to the Twin Cities from the east coast, I was very disappointed in the hazy style, and was ready to focus on other types of beer. But then I found Barrel Theory. These beers are legit. 12-day-old can pours a bright yellow-orange. Smelled and looked like pineapple juice while pouring, then transitions to white grape and the musky herbal smell that really good Nelson beers have. Taste is complex fruit moving to a bit of bready malt in the finish, which then goes back to lingering fruit. Nice feel, easy drinking. Great beer, thanks!
