Wood Smoked Hefeweizen pours a slightly hazy, bright copper, with a small head. The aroma has notes of smoked wood, sweet, and hints of banana. The flavor is much the same, a hint of sweet, wood smoke, and banana notes. Good feel.

On tap 6/13/24 at the brewery & 750 ml crowler into a Hefe glass.
L: SRM 4 Pours a medium hazed dark apricot orange with a thin white head that recedes quickly to edge foam, more clarity at the base, steady carbonation, light random spots of lacing.
S: Banana bread, grains, a hint of smokiness, smoked apple.
T: Stewed smoky apple, banana bread, wheat, yeast, a hint of graham cracker, distant white pepper, it is gently rich tasting overall.
F: Gently brisk medium-bodied feel with a moderately fast finish that is fairly drying.
O: Subtle smoke notes make this a tasty Hefe. Simple and a bit on the lighter side feel-wise. It hits all the marks and is very good in its style.

On tap at the brewery. White head. Lace. Hazy golden orange.
Smoked and bacon flavors. Banana, cloves, orange peel. An interesting combination but I enjoy it. Light to medium bodied. Lots of flavor for a hefe.
