Different combinations of pours at the brewery. 5 oz, and also a 5 oz as a snit aside the #325 chili ale, and then blended 20% #42 pineapple into 80% #325 chili ale.
L: SRM 3 pours a radiant hazy yellow with white edges and a thin creamy white head that moves to edge foam, low carbo, medium-thick sticky lacing.
S: Pineapple, a bit of earthy hot pepper, a hint of cotton candy.
T: Juicy succulent pineapple, tropical, pepper heat, powdered sugar sweetness, earthy veggie pepper, sweet malts.
F: Juicy, smooth, lush medium-heavy bodied feel with a long semi-thick wet finish.
O: Pineapple forward and has brilliantly placed and balanced chili pepper heat. Gorgeous flavors that aren't fake. Creating combos at the bar with the chili beers and beyond is really eye-opening. I saw folks adding this beer to a raspberry key lime beer. #42 is outstanding in its style.
