A: VERY Hazy orange to khaki color, opaque, haze is so thick you cant see through it, large pillowy off white head, excellent lacing
S: Lots of nose, pine hops, some earthiness, not much in the way of malts, all hops
T: Not as astengent as I thought it would be with the amount of nose it had, really easy drinker for the 8.0% abv
M: Full
O: Real quality, definetly can tell its a double IPA. Really like this series from a really cool Georgia brewery.

12 oz can
Pours hazy golden orange. Yellowish head dissipates to suds.
Aroma is of citrus, pear, pineapple, and bread malts.
Flavor is of bready malt, apple, citrus, pineapple, mango, herbal and juicy hops, and an earthy honey finish.
Medium body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.
This is a really pleasant florally hopped beer. Definitely a distinct hop profile in this one; this strain of hops is new to me but I like it a lot. Will be looking for more beers using them, and this one is a real winner.

I was pleasantly surprised at how effing delicious this was!! Canned about 5 weeks ago. I’m now drinking my third in as many days and it’s for me the way I want my IPA to be a juice bomb—-sweet mandarin and mango predominates; the creaminess is extremely inviting; and the nose is sooo beautiful—again sweet citrus with a floral touch. This is my first Wild Leap and I pray I get to drink more of their offerings in the future.

12 oz can- Pours very hazy burnt orange with a thin white head. Aroma is mango and tangerine, very pithy. The taste is orange and mango in a glass. Very juicy, and delicious. Loved it.

BIG strawberry flavor. Soft carbonation. Nice change from citrus and tropical hazies aplenty. Worth seeking out.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium to dark, coppery color, similar to iced tea, with a two finger white head with great retention and thick lacing, looks nice. Aroma of pale and biscuit malt, red berries, orange, mixed tropical fruit, lightly floral. Flavor is neutral malt, berries, tea; somewhat dank. Low bitterness in the taste and finish, but interestingly a lingering resinous hop bitterness lingers for quite a while. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Well, I knew this was a hazy, and it turns out to be the low bitterness style I'm not fond of, but I wanted to try the brewery and this uncommon hop so I pulled the trigger. I'm glad to have tried it, the the Barbe Rouge is an unusually flavored hop and it is interesting to taste. I'm getting strong tea notes here which border on dankness, and some dried red berries. I think I'd really dig this in a traditional IPA. Because these low alpha hazies get boring for me after a half glass, this is a mixed bag for me. I do like the odd hop flavors and there is a lingering moderate bitterness after the taste that keeps me interesting. Looks, smells and feels very nice. Should please the hazy IPA fans.
