I swung by the brewpub on 23SEP and started with a 0.25l pour of this, for €3.60.
It was a beauteous amber color, with a smidge of haze. The head was light beige, and creamy, sitting at about 1/4". It receded slowly, leaving decent lace behind. The nose was malty, toasty caramel, with some floral action. It felt pretty smooth, light on the prickle with a medium body.
Tasted some decent caramel and toffee to start. Had a hint of molasses and it mellowed out in the finish with some nice, subtle citrus notes. A decent brew, overall. Prosit!
