It has been seven years since the last review here and lots has changed. If you want to see this Place, then you should soon. Because chances are it will have to be somewhere else soon. It is an aged industrial park that is being converted to offices and residential and close to half of the mid-century stuff has been torn down already. It strikes me that De Kromme Haring is similar to the Resistance: full of life, but oblivious to the writing on the wall. But moving also gives them a chance to reinvent themselves and go bigger... which they probably deserve, based on their three beers I just drank. And I can't wait for the two I just took away.

If you want an actual review of Haring, read Bierman9's review below. I'm sure it was accurate 7 years ago, but double the funk and graffiti for today's picture.

Everything about Haring I liked. The Resistance Vibe, the Quality of their brews (traditional and innovative), Service was good and they had guest taps and significant wine selections. I had a pizza (better than a typical bar) and they had other bar food. All seemed to be thought through and well put together; but Haring has an unsettling combination of decay and possibility, not unlike the historical cycle our future holds. Is ale a good metaphor for life ? Proost !

Visited here on 23SEP17 during my latest Holland/Germany/Belgium trip...

Found after a ~20 minute walk from the train station in the rear of a small industrial-type park... Out back you'll first find a small biergarten with about 10 tables... Upon entering you'll see a short bar in the rear-right, where they had 8 house taps and 4 guest brews. The bar had some light snacks and pastries available. To the right were rest rooms, and to the left were 6 to 8 tables of varying sizes... It is a very bare-bones type place, with a warehouse vibe. The brewer/owner is from New England, and actually recalled seeing me at the recent Borefts beer fest (my New England Patriots shirt gave me away). I had 2 of their offerings, which were decent and tasty, though not mind-blowing. A clean, comfy place, decent beer, and a helpful owner - worth a visit... Prosit!!
