I had this beer on-tap in a half liter pub glass at the brewery in Malta.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a moderate haze and a finger of ivory foam that leaves a bit of chunky lace on the glass.
Smell: grainy, almost dry malt, with a pronounced hop character. Reminds me of an English bitter more than a lager.
Taste: a little bit of sweetness with an earthy character, a bit of toast, and a good bitterness. Way more like a bitter pale ale, but I gotta say, I like it.
Mouthfeel: medium light body with a good carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: this thing is mega quaffable. It just sorta rubs me the right way.
