a very simple, clean, refined, and true to style brew here, golden and clear and polished looking in the glass, upstairs at the brewery, a neat and cozy spot to have a couple! good inch plus of white head on this from the tap, high carbonation the whole way. the nose is a little understated, simple to me, less from the yeast than a lot of these have but still with a lager-like crispness, a slightly fuller malt profile, bready to me but without it being sweet, and with a nice mineral backing, light on the hops, brisk, fresh. the flavor has some biscuity grain heft to it as the style goes, but remains relatively light overall, just a tad more sturdy than most, some bittering hops balance light middle malt sweetness, slightly fruity fermentation character before it dries out, definitely short of metallic but with a lot of mineral character on the swallow, vibrant overall, refreshing still with all the bubbles, and clean to me, professionally done. this is real serviceable stuff, i like all the grain to it, especially for the colder months, and we had an awesome time here hanging out and watching football. great space, solid beers, killer service. perhaps not a memorable brew here, but a good one nevertheless.

Pours out of the can a slightly opaque orange-straw color with two fingers of head with decent retention. Smells like crackery malt, a faint honey, and a little earthy. Tastes leans into the cracker notes with a bit of spice on the back end. Not terribly carbonated, but not necessarily flat. Lends itself to better flavor than a body.
