Can. Clear amber with ring no head. Might smokey caramelized brown sugar aroma with with a hint of herbs and wood. Sweet brown sugar with mineral feel like a lager. Very slick with not nearly enough carbonation in light body which means the flavors don't blend and it's cloying even though it is not overly sweet. Oh well.

On tap at West Kill Brewing in West Kill, NY.
This one pours a light brown-ish amber color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells toasty, with some nuttiness, smoked pecan, campfire, and chocolate.
A smoked red ale is not exactly going to be a super popular style, but they’ve absolutely nailed this one anyway. It’s sweet, toasty, and smokey, all in appropriate balances, with a crisp and slight bitterness on the finish.
This is soft, well balanced, and very drinkable.
I’m a sucker for well done smoked beers, and this really hit the spot.
