Canned April 4/23 - from brewpub. Listed at 6.4%.
Clear caramel amber colour pour with two fingers of creamy khaki coloured head.
Nose is bready and malty - hints of caramel and toffee - perhaps a little floral.
Taste follows with sweet bready malt - caramel, again toffee and even just a faint hint of smokiness. Mild earthy and piney bitterness at back.
Medium mouthfeel with bright carbonation and a bittersweet earthy and caramel finish.

Can: Poured a deep amber color bock with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of clear cereal notes with light caramelization is enticing. Taste is also a great mix of clean cereal notes with some light caramelization and a semi-dry aftertaste. Body is light with good carbonation. Solid bock with good flavour balance and good drinkability.

Deep amber/copper body, regal, a touch hazy; a full, sandy head forms, with a good few minutes retention.
Mild aromas of caramel malt and butterscotch.
The taste matches the aroma, though not sugary, adding in balancing, resinous hop bitterness that is assertive but not flavourful. Even a sense of sourdough. Lingering flavours of pine, burnt caramel. Light fruitiness in the background, of raisins, over-ripe banana, dates. Medium-dry finish. Medium body and medium-light carbonation. Residual sugar builds up a bit more over time than I'd like.
An enjoyable, clean example of the style, though greater carbonation and a touch less sweetness would be beneficial.
