Oi ! Britain and Japan might be on opposite sides of the world, but we feel like we have brought them closer together via some informal slang in Toronto.

We brewed Oi ! as an ESB (Extra Special Bitter). Soft orange marmalade aroma immerses you and is followed by a biscuity toffee body. There is a slight peppery and grassy finish that rounds off this very well balanced beer.

British Pale Ale and Speciality malts with 100% East Kent Golding hops brings a truly authentic British beer style to this part of the world.

Poured a 355ml can into a pint glass. A one finger tan head on a very slightly hazy copper. The head soon diminishes to a ring.

Caramel malts in the nose. Some apple. The taste follows the nose with caramel, Toffee. Some orchard fruit comes through as it warms. A long lightly hopped caramel finish.

Very Smooth. A medium light body and carbonation. Overall a fine English Bitter. Well worth a try.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 355mL in a pint glass. From Vaughan, Ontario's Small Batch Dispatch's March 2025 monthly shipment. My fourth beer from the Toronto, Ontario brewery, and first for 2025.

Rich, deep amber body, with copper highlights, clear. A fluffy marshmallow head forms, the colour of sand, holding well for a couple of minutes before fading to a thin layer.
Aroma of caramel malt, butterscotch, raisins, sweet apple.
Full flavoured, of caramel malt, toffee, butterscotch, cider filling out the sweet side; balancing pine hops kick in, and perhaps some fruity notes, before leading to an off-dry finish. The sense of orchard fruit is quite pronounced, this feels like it was born on a farm. The grain shines through. Medium body and medium-low carbonation.

Interesting flavour profile, I enjoyed this a lot. Good choice for a fall or winter sessionable brew.
