Tsumi 罪 (meaning: sin) is our refined interpretation of an Imperial Coffee Stout. Using Guatemalan, single origin coffee from Pilot Coffee Roasters, Tsumi gives impressions of blackcurrants, dark chocolate cake, and subtle vanilla with a dry and unapologetically roasty finish.

Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of strong floral coffee notes with some bitter black chocolate notes. Taste is a mix of bitter chocolate notes with some strong roasted coffee notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Nice espresso coffee stout.

Deep roasted coffee, quaffable but there are better and smoother coffee beers around. On tap at Bar Volo. including ones Godspeed themselves have made.
