a very very light take on the style here, served in a duvel type tulip glass at the brewery with a lemon wheel. its got a nice white head on it from the tap but it settles fast, and the beer is light in shade and relatively clear for the style, not big golden and rich looking, but i dont mind the more sessionable approach to the style. smells like fresh citrus, really mild yeast esters here to go with the light body, its not as substantial as i like these to be overall, but i think the balance is there. subtle banana to the yeast, but no clove or pepper spice to me at all, its like half complete in that way, but i get a white grape juice thing that i like, a kiwi fruit note oddly enough, and the lemon that ended up in there too. wheat is really light, i get some pils malt too i think, i wish it had a bit more structure but the delicate flavor is nice, a light floral note before the dry finish. good carbonation, highly drinkable, and nice with the heavier food we were eating in here. maybe my favorite of the three beers we had on our visit, but still not overly remarkable...
