Collaboration with Resident Culture Brewing Co.
Brewed in collaboration with Resident Culture. A modern take on the classic Pilsner, we blasted this unfiltered lager in the whirlpool with a heavy load of Czech Saaz and the freshest Citra we could get our hands on. Brewed with pilsner malt from our friends at Epiphany Craft Malting.

A: Pours a very lightly hazy pale yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate lemon yellow + very pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a handful of small patches of thin film surrounded by a large patch of mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of bready + grainy malt with a minimal amount of grainy sweetness. Slightly less than moderate aromas of grassy + spicy + herbal + citrus/grapefruit hops. Light aromas of lager yeast.
T: Upfront there are Light to moderate flavors of bready + grainy malt with a minimal amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of lager yeast. Finally there are light to moderate flavors of grassy + spicy + herbal + citrus/grapefruit hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which lingers slightly then fades away leaving a relatively clean finish.
M: Light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp with a relatively clean finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a crisp + refreshing mouthfeel. Enjoyable classic pilsner flavors + aromas of a light amount of Citra hop presence added. Perfect for a warm evening.
