Pours a vaguely translucent, pale gold body capped with a finger and a half of short-lived, fluffy, off-white foam; a large, creamy collar encompasses a few paper-thin islands of cap, while firm, webby splotches of lacing dot the walls of the glass.
Aroma brings fresh mango into undertones of rich vanilla and a subtle, oaky funk upfront; fragrant guava undertones fade to strawberry esters over the middle, while hints of green banana peel phasing to doughy banana bread find a horse blanket weight with only shreds of the more potent layers of funk now lingering through the back end of the bouquet.
Taste features a twangy punch of lacto-funk plays into sweeter mango and distant vanilla, while prickly guava finds a more assertive, funky oak grit over the mid-palate and green banana esters trailed by vague cinnamon accents course through the finish.
Mouthfeel brings a medium-light body with a subdued, creamy prickle moderate carbonation dispersing a clean, wispy tartness, potent though brief through the mid-palate; wet textures become somewhat flattening on the back end while a moderate acidity maintained to linger through a semi-dry finish.
Tropical brightness contrasts clean funk and mildly tannic oak for a restrained portrait of eccentric adjuncts rendered with finesse and balance; a fun and well-maintained wild ale.

A: Poured into a Duvel tulip to a clear and bright yellow beer which is topped by a dense and slightly rocky finger and a half of white head which fades quickly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of intense tropical fruits with hints of cinnamon and vanilla along with a nice base sourness
T: Taste is a nice sourness up front with some cinnamon and vanilla. The tropical fruits come in nicely as well as a slight hint of funk and creamy wheat. On the swallow the sourness kicks things off before more vanilla comes in along with some lingering cinnamon and tropical fruits.
M: This beer has a body which is on the lighter side of medium. Carbonation is effervescent and slightly prickly while the beer has a drying finish due to the acidity.
O: Overall this is a great sour. It has some really nice flavors and complexity along with a ton of balance. The huge vanilla notes play really well with the sourness of the beer.
