Brewed in the twilight of 2019, this portion of Thickfreakness was aged in a Smooth Ambler Contradiction Bourbon barrel for over 22 months. Robust flavors of sweet and charred oak, vine-ripe red grapes and berries, old fashioned chocolate fudge, and cold brewed coffee come to mind in this behemoth, which was aged on cacao nibs in the fermenter, and finished with Mill Mountain coffee after the barrel aging.
