Taster at YL. Cloudy golden, skimpy head, curtains of lacing. Sweet, bready aroma. Taste is sweet, smooth, light hoppiness. Can't place the flavor, but this is super smooth, delicate and tasty. Way too gentle for a DIPA.

Can purchased at The Lake House in Canandaigua, NY.

This one pours a mostly clear darker orange, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells just super malty, and like old lemon, and like old grapefruit, and just...old.

Like pretty much every Young Lion beer that I've ever had, this is just super skippable. It's extremtly basic - a combination of too malty, and too bitter. It's got a sharp hoppiness that just does not slide on to the palate very gracefully.

This wasn't super drinkable - I had to just chug the rest of it to get through it quickly so I could move on to something more enjoyable more quickly.

I like to give local breweries another chance every so often, but most of the time this happens. I'm running out of chances to give to this brewery.

On tap at the Silver Bird Wood Fired. Chilly 60 degree time in the deck after a 90 degree day yesterday! 6/22/21.

Wonderful smell of wood smoke while sipping this average DBL IPA. Slight sweet mango forward. Not overly bitter. Well balanced.
