Lightly hazy medium brown color with a thin off white head that slowly dissipates. Light roast and chocolate moderate caramel, just a hint under attenuated. Not too shabby.

Presentation: 12 oz. brown bottle with no dates. Served in a Samuel Adams pint glass.
Appearance: The one finger head goes away pretty quickly but leaves some great lacing that covers the glass in patches. It's a light reddish brown color.
Smell: It's not that aromatic. There's some sweet maltiness and oak on the nose and that's pretty much it.
Taste: It's well balanced. With some caramel sweetness up front and some wood notes. It finishes with an earthy, hoppy bitterness.
Mouthfeel: It's crisp, with a high carbonation bite and light to medium body.
Overall: A decent interpretation of an English brown ale (even through it's listed as an "American Brown"). The wood notes give it an interesting touch but it's not a revolutionary beer.
