On tap at the source.
Dark brown/black in color with great clarity and a frothy khaki head that slowly recedes. Roasted creamed coffee with bits of fruit and light chocolate. Pretty nice.

Presentation: Draft, served in a tulip glass.
Appearance: Black, with a one finger tan head that goes down to a thin foam layer and sticks around until the end.
Smell: It's not that aromatic. There's faint hints of coffee and malt sweetness with some lactose undertones.
Taste: The strongest taste is of coffee with a hint of dark chocolate in the aftertaste. The lactose is barely noticeable.
Mouthfeel: Creamy and crisp, two things that are at odds with each other and make for a weird texture. A bit watery, medium bodied with medium-high carbonation.
Overall: Nothing too impressive, but a decent beer overall that looks really good. The signature cues from the style just don't stand out enough.
