Just like a fast ball straight down the middle, Ocean Lab delivers a perfect strike of a beer with their classic West Coast styled hop bomb of an IPA.
Medium amber and nearly brilliantly clear, Ocean IPA floats a creamy white froth with a bright and botanical scent of tropical fruit, citrus and sprucy herbs. Gentle sweetness of caramel, toast and nuttiness seems modestly granola-like, the grain sweetness soon gives way to the hops. Tropical accented hops simply bloom on the middle palate, offering the taste of mango, pineapple and apricot with the brightness of orange zest and red grapefruit. Trending swiftly bitter, the late taste is a dry and peppery balance fueled with fresh grass clipping, spruce tip and citrus peel.
Medium bodied and boldly flavored, Ocean IPA is a super crisp, clean and refreshing IPA that's perfect for every part of the Puerto Rico island.

Ocean IPA has a thick, white head and a clear, orange-gold appearance, with heavy lacing. The aroma is of orange, pine, and white bread crust. The flavor is of those elements, with strong bitterness. Ocean IPA has a medium body and a dry finish.

Great tasting IPA. Out of the bottle tastes better than out of the can. Is my only knock on this beer

Appearance: One finger bubbly head that goes away quickly. Almost no lacing. Ever so slightly hazy gold color.
Smell: It smells mainly of citrus peel and fresh orange and grapefruit.
Taste: It starts off with acidic, grapefruit and tangerine peels With some fresh tangerine in the background and that's pretty much it. Just enough bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with medium-high carbonation. Slightly creamy.
Overall: A well made, citrusy IPA. Nothing special and nothing bad about it either.
