Brewed during hurricane season, yakima valley citra hops were delivered fresh right between PR receiving one of the worst hurricanes in decades. The perseverance and determination of the brewers to keep this beer alive using generators and a bit of ingenuity makes this recipe a truly unique and special beer. Bursting with citrus hop aroma and a semi sweet after taste make this journey complete.

Presentation: 12 oz. brown bottle without freshness dates. Served in a Samuel Adams pint glass.
Appearance: One and a half finder head that leaves some good lacing. Gold colored.
Smell: The aroma is faint, mainly of citrus peel, hops and a hint of malt in the background.
Taste: There's some fruity hops and bitterness in the palate but it's mainly malty sweetness.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with medium high carbonation. Nothing special.
Overall: The story behind this beer is great. Brewed in the immediate aftermath of hurricanes Irma and MarĂa with the brewery powered by generators so the fresh hops that had just been received would not go to waste. The end result however, is just a slightly above average beer.
