SJU/San Juan Lager has a thick, slightly off-white head and a clear, straw appearance with some lacing. The aroma is of cracker. The flavor is of that, with moderate, grassy bitterness and some sweetness. SJU/San Juan Lager has a medium body and a dry finish.

On tap at the source.
Pours a mostly clear light gold color with a decent sized off white head that slowly recedes. Bready crackery maltiness with hints of green apple clove and light astringency.

Presentation: 12 oz. brown bottle with no freshness dates. Served in a Samuel Adams pint glass.
Appearance: It has a thin, half finger head that goes away quickly. Crystal clear, bright gold color.
Smell: It's present but not that strong. Mainly of malt and grains.
Taste: A grainy, sweet, malty taste typical of a commercial light lager but slightly improved.
Mouthfeel: Very light and refreshing with medium-high carbonation.
Overall: A good alternative for those that only drink light lagers and are afraid to try something new. A very refreshing, approachable, fairly decent (albeit boring) beer.
