Presentation: 12 oz. brown bottle with no freshness dates. Served in a Samuel Adams pint glass.
Appearance: It develops a one finger head that goes away quickly and leaves some good lacing that covers the whole glass. Crystal clear, dark gold almost amber color.
Smell: The smell is faint but it's just dank, resin-y hops and that's it. What little aroma there is, is very good.
Taste: It's dank with a big pine resin flavor along with some orange peel citrus notes and a touch of malt sweetness in the background.
Mouthfeel: It's light bodied and feels a bit watery. This translates into a refreshing brew but it needs more substance. Medium carbonation.
Overall: It needs more of everything to be truly great. Bigger and bolder scent and flavor along with a more robust body. As it stands, it's still a solid beer though.
