Baraka has a thick, beige head and a very dark-brown appearance, with some lacing. The aroma is of strong coffee and brown bread crust. The flavor of those elements, with acrid bitterness. There is low sweetness, with some acidity. Baraka has a medium body and a dry finish.

Presentation: 12 oz. bottle with no dates, served in a Rastal Craft Master Grand.
3.75 Appearance: The one finger head goes away pretty quickly and doesn't leave much lacing. It's a beautiful, extremely dark brown, almost black color. It looks just like fresh brewed, black coffee.
4.25 Smell: The strong coffee aroma dominates the nose. There's some notes of brown sugar and roasted malt in the background as well.
4.25 Taste: Despite the strong coffee presence, it's not that bitter. It's mostly fruity coffee notes of fresh coffee beans and some smokiness. These stronger flavors are balanced by a sweet brown sugar taste and a good malt backbone.
4.00 Mouthfeel: It's lighter than expected and quite easy to drink with low carbonation. The sweetness is a little bit cloying though.
4.25 Overall: A superb stout with the coffee aroma and flavors front an center. It's surprisingly easy to drink and is an absolute must for coffee lovers or just anyone who enjoys a good stout.
