12oz can canned 4/21/21 poured into a tall lager glass.
L: Pours a light pale straw yellow, med-low carbonation, thin head, zero lacing. It has a very light yeast haze.
S: Malty, yeasty, caramel, raisins.
T: Crisp pale lemon then quickly white bread, yeast and malt. Caramelized malt. It has a lightly sweet finish and remains crisp throughout the 12oz. Malting really shines in this beer.
F: Crisp, brisk, light, light bodied, low hops and the overall taste profile does not spread out over the palate. It is a gentle beer.
O: A very drinkable and accessible German lager. It reminds me of beers from August Schell. Got a 6pk and have tried it poured and also straight from the can. It is a very lovely and stable beer. Quite tasty and light.

Aggressively poured into pilsner glass... very little head , smells like colt 45. Come to think of it, I can not tell the difference between this and the previously mentioned beverage. In appearance and in all ways, it tastes like a run of the mill Malt beverage. Recommend to anyone who likes Mickeys or Old English as well. if I had paid for the beer I would be disappointed.

Pours a nice light gold with a pure white head. Smells lightly of sweeter malts with some slightly spicy and floral tones to it. The taste is very good. It's got a light yet full bodied malt flavor that perfectly balances the hoppy bitterness. At first you get the breast malt followed by an almost spicy and floral flavor then right at the end you get a perfect flash of bitterness. It's slightly more carbonated than most beers, but it adds to the style and makes it very refreshing to sip outside and goes pretty well with food.

Pours golden yellow with a small head that disappears quickly
The aroma is very grainy, I’m also getting some honey, and a bit of grassiness.
The flavor is all sweet bread, the hops on the finish are faint. Fairly grainy,
Mouthfeel is thicker than most helles lagers,
Overall, it’s ok. Nothing special, but it’s a solid helles.

12oz bottle served in a tulip. Dated Aug 06 2019.
Pours clear golden with a small head. Smell is yeast, maybe honey -- some kind of malt sweetness.
Taste is lager yeast, something vaguely fruity, moderate sweetness but still fairly crisp.
Mouthfeel is light and clean. Overall, pretty nice lager.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, "bottled on" date "051319", does not get much fresher than 17 days old.
APPEARANCE: pours a slightly cloudy, light golden color with one-finger white head that quickly dissipated until a thin, broken layer of small bubbles remained, there is light lacing on the glass, medium carbonation.
SMELL: faint to the nose, sweet bread and grassy.
TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet bread then a very light hop kiss on the finish.
PALATE: light body and medium carbonation.
OVERALL: this is a good beer, I enjoy this style of beer immensely, I would not seek this one out again as there are better beers in this style that I prefer, the malt bill was just right but it needs a little more hop presence for me.

Solid lager. Good color. Weak on lager smell. Good first taste but falls off really quickly.

A solid Helles, a style that is often underrated IMO.

Brilliant clear. Pour with light carbonation and very little head. Subtle grainy pils flavor, lots of malt depth. Slight German hop funk as it warms, but not unpleasant. This is a well made Helles. Have had this on tap at the brewery and in bottles from the local store. Solid, well made Beer.
