Break out the flip flops and uncover the pool, because the first taste of summer is here! We brewed our version of a Light Mexican Lager and added lime so you don't have to! Add just a touch of salt and all you need is a beach front view!

Canned 4/28/24
This is another one I probably shouldn’t have sat on for 5 months but oh well. This one is pretty straightforward one, a lime adjuncted Helles. I’m assuming this is the same base beer as the only other beer I’ve had from them which was a chili pepper adjuncted Helles. Let’s get into it
Pours a clear pale straw with a finger of soapy white head that fades to a thin ring and leaves minimal lacing
The nose is pretty one dimensional but I’m okay with that dimension. I’m picking up on aromas of lime juice, lime pith, crackery malt, white pepper, light honey, and raw grain
The lime feels a bit more artificial in taste but it’s still not bad all things considered. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting lime candy, honey, crackery malt, raw grain, lemon zest, and light grass. The swallow brings notes of lime candy, raw grain, biscuity malt, lime pith, and honey
A light body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a crisp beer. Finishes bone dry and refreshing
This one isn’t anything amazing but it’s definitely solid. It probably would’ve been better fresh but even 5 months out it’s holding up pretty well

On tap at Brew Bank Topeka. Poured a clear, golden color with a small, white head of fluffy foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of tart limes and some caramel. Strong lime taste with some caramel and toffee.

Clear active yellow with a bubbly white head. Aromas a flowers, bright lime, and light grains, lime slightly artificial. Tastes overwhelmed by floral flavors surprisingly, lime cuts in but again very lighthearted and doesn’t capture the depth of the fruit, grains are short-lived and thin, yeast meets all. Body is light, lacks depth of the hellas, and crisp finish is too highly carbonated. A gourmet corona

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that rapidly dissipated, leaving only a tiny collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of limes are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has moderately strong flavors of limes with a light amount of associated sourness.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is all about the limes and is nice and refreshing without being that sour.
Serving type: can

Sorry but nothing makes this stand out much more from a decent helles with a fresh lime squeezed into it. Expected more flavor than this.

5oz: not bad for the concept, a pre-limed American lager; the lime has bit too much influence, especially in the nose; hybrid Helles/fruit beer

The base beer for this is good (pilsener?). The lines really shines and is at an appropriate level. Not a bad fruit beer. Should be a popular summer beer.
