Soft, elegant malt complexity is in the forefront, with a firm enough hop bitterness to provide a balanced finish. Some toasted/nutty character from the use of Vienna malt.

Pours light amber and only slightly chill-hazed. Off-white fluffy head is limited by attractive, and lingers quite well. Good lacing.
Aromas of bready and fruity caramel malts and some judicious grassy/earthy hops.
Lightly toasted malts turn bready and fruity in midstream, and meld with just enough noble grassy/earth hops to move this one over into the right style column.
The brew is only medium-light, which is surprising for the style and ABV, but very drinkable and drying at the finish. Very nice carbonation.
Overall, an excellent take on an underrated style.

A: The beer is crystal clear yellowish amber in color. It poured with a short off white head that left a thin film of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of sweet caramel and toasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste is a bit sweet and is mostly dominated by flavors of caramel and toasted malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: While this beer is very malty, it isn’t overly sweet and it is quite easy to drink.
Serving type: can

Pours a clear chestnut brown color. Thin one finger white head dissipates steadily but not completely. A thin layer of velvety foam lingers on the top of the beer. Lightly effervescent initially, but settles down eventually.
Aroma has notes of bready nutty malts. Earthy and simple.
Taste follows as expected. with notes of bready malts, somewhat earthy and nutty. Earthy bittering hops come through on the back end. Its somewhat watery. The yeast is kind of spicy and has a slight twang to it.
Feel is light, smooth, semi-dry finish. Moderate carbonation.
Overall this was just lacking in the flavor profile - I think the yeast in this just doesn't mesh well with the lager profile.
