We took our award winning Barrelywine and socked it away in some Brickway bourbon and rum barrels, and then finished it on toasted coconut and pecans for good measure. Cask carbonated for a velvety, smooth feel and a decadent taste!

O.K. So, I was generally dissatisfied with my first of two bottles. It had a dime-sized chunk of white something upon pouring. The second bottle (almost a year later), again had the chunk - a spoonable chunk. That could be explained. But the fact that there was no carbonation...none...no head, no ring, truly flat. I was really tempted to pour it out. But my beer advisor said to try it and it was: Flat, completely with the most vigorous pour. Taste is hot and harsh. It improves a bit with warming and drinking. But never what I wanted. I would not buy this again. But it had potential.
