Our 24 month whiskey barrel aged stout, was amped up with 15 lbs of Archetype coffee and 20 lbs of cocoa nibs from Just the Nib for a perky, pick-me-up of a brew that would be a perfect start to a day drinkin' session!

Appearance: Pours the darkest shade of brown with a thin mocha film that fades to a collar; leggy but no lacing
Smell: The Bourbon barrel treatment adds a caress to the aroma with the chocolate fudge and coffee tones dominant
Taste: The subtle touch of the Bourbon barrel infuses the flavor profile from start to finish with chocolate fudge and vanilla being the primary flavors at the outset; through the middle, the coffee arrives; the finish is a flourish of coffee and Bourbon
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low carbonation
Overall: Very deft handling of the Bourbon here, a soft mouthfeel and a nice coffee flavor; a nice way to finish my exploration of this brewery
Thanks, xKURTx, for the opportunity
