Kros Strain Brewing “Funky Nectar”
on tap at the brewery on 23 December 2022
Look: Hazy orange body beneath a short head of white. Very good head retention and lacing.
Smell: Lightly sweet and bready, citrusy, and earthy.
Taste: Tart, fruity. Apricot candy. Sweetish. Grassy. Mostly dry in the finish with some earthiness and wet straw lingering.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp.
Overall: While there's not a whole lot of clear Brettanomyces character here it does make a difference when compared to the other versions.
