Notes via stream of consciousness: This is a hazy IPA dry hopped with Mosaic, Kohia Nelson, Sultana, and Sabro hops. I've never even heard of Kohia Nelson so I'm curious but at the same time there are a lot of other hops in there so who knows what I'll learn. It's poured a very hazy golden body beneath two inches or more of bright white foam. The aroma is fairly bright. I'm getting flowers, gooseberry, coconut, a lemon-like citrus note, and spicy pine right off the bat. On my second whiff I got a kind of orangecicle note which is interesting. There's also some herbal character, citrus pith, and other tropical and non-tropical fruits. Moving forward the flavor follows. My initial taste gave me tangerine, gooseberry, coconut, cedar, lemon, and pine in that order. Let me try it again... orange, coconut, wood, pine & mint, pineapple, and rosemary. My third sip delivered some berries upfront, nectarine, mango, coconut, and then asiatic lily, cedar, and soft pine in the finish. I'd imagine that if you keep going you'll find even more as your palate adapts. The malt is grainy, wheaty, sweetish, and honey-like. I think there are oats in there as well but I'm not sure. A firm bitterness balances it, and along with the cedar, herbal, and piney notes it finishes dry with some woody, piney, and earthy notes lingering. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp then smooth. The head held up well but not great, and the lacing was somewhat limited. All in all it's vibrant and rich but not overblown, very well balanced and rounded, and charming from start to finish.
