We took our recipe for a German style märzen and cold lagered in red wine and whiskey barrels for an Oktoberfest style beer unlike any you've ever had.

Appearance: A bubble show builds a three finger head atop the clear amber liquid; strong retention with webs of lacing
Smell: Caramel malt with some distinctive barrel notes; both the Red Wine and Bourbon barrels can be detected
Taste: Caramel malt forward with the barrel treatment adding an oaky element; as in the aroma, the Red Wine and Bourbon barrels both add to the flavor profile and complement each other into the finish
Mouthfeel: Meidium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Love the creativity in a style that I typically don't seek out; sometimes I find that using a variety of barrels doesn't work very well but I am astonished by the way the two barrels complement each other here
Thanks, xKURTx, for the opportunity
