The first in our taproom select series, Yippie Skippy is what we're dubbing a "tropical stout" We started with an imperial stout recipe, and dry hopped with motueka and citra hops for a tropical, fruitlike finish for something you've never drank before!

Served from a can into a goblet glass. Served chilled.
Black colored body. Beige head which becomes an island and thin ring. Leaves behind some short strings of lacing.
Aroma is faint but there are some dark roasted malts.
Taste has a higher level of hops. Base of roasted malts. Sweet mixed with some char. Hop flavors are floral and grassy, with a light touch of citrus. Aftertaste goes to sweet and juicy.
Medium mouthfeel. Low bitterness. Supportive carbonation.
Odd for style, but some redemption from the citrus.
